here my little con report for our tiny adventure in Italy.
=Elffi and I were cosplay guests for the convention PLAY in Modena, Italy :3~.
A convention about all kinds of games (cardboard games, rpgs, larp etc) as well as TV/Movie and anime/manga.

On Saturday there was just a small cosplay competition. We were judges together with 4 lovely Italians !
I wore my Lacus Clyne costume :3~~~


I met the lovely "Sweet Angel"! A very cute and nice cosplay girl *_*! She is my favorite Yoko (so pretty ;O;!!)~~

Also a BIG surprise were the living OWLS on the convention *____*~~

Also I met the gorgeous 10th Doctor from Doctor Who (I'm a big fan *_*)! Luca's costume was so adorable...he looked so much like the actor !

The day was really calm, so we walked around the convention and took some impression photos. Here you go....



Then on Sunday we wore our new MAGI costumes ~~~
We had some interview on the stage about our cosplay history.


The hosts of the show were really wonderful and charming ! Thanks a lot to Giada Robin and Lord Ashram !!!

Then the competition started and OMGGGG so many starting numbers! I was never judge for such a big competition before. It was really interesting and entertaining ! Many different kinds of costumes.
We also were honored to be allowed to give a "special award" to a team we like most of all. It was a really easy choice, coz we loved those two the most <3~~

Hello everyone <3~~


I'm back from Madrid in Spain and have some photos and stories to share with you. Watch only the photos or read my crap as well haha XDDD it's all up to you <3.


First of all, it was CRAZILY COLD!!! OMG x.x....it was like 5°C, but the crazily ICY wind made it ways colder.
The day we arrived, we had a really lovely dinner together with our friends from WCS Team Spain 2012 (<3!!), *KamuiCosplay and her husband and met some new Spanish friends <3. Thanks a lot to Alberto to organize this dinner *hugs*.


SATURDAY

First convention day! I wore my new Archbishop costume from Ragnarok Online together with =Elffi as Shura
(I'm still not confident with my costume ;O;, but I had much fun wearing it ^^).
We went to a photoshooting with our sweet photographer Taichia ([link]) who tried her best to take some pretty shots during a very gray and windy day >___<;!

   

after we finished the shooting we went (totally frozen) to the convention hall !
Sadly we took too long and missed to judge the parade cosplay competition ,_, ... fuuu~
Also because of some problems in the organization our photography workshop got canceled as well as our press interviews on this day. So the only thing we could do was walking around and taking some photos with friends and fans. So we have now quiet a lot of those XDDD.

Well first of all, some impressions of the con !

Because there was nothing much to do we took some fun photos with this cute Angeling we got lend from my friend Estefania <3

I was really happy to meet my friends from ECG Team Spain again <3! Greetings here also to new ECG Team Spain who will be in Paris this year *_*! i'll cheer for them ! I'm also glad that so many people we talked to before the convention actually really appeared on the con, so we could talk to them. In general, everybody treated us really nicely ^___^!


SUNDAY

On Sunday we actually had some press conference on the stage were we got introduced to the people (maybe that would have been better on Saturday lol). I'm happy we had so many listeners ^^~
Also on that day, we were judges for the cosplay competition. I was very entertained by the show XDDD. I specially really loved the Sword Art Online pair *_*, the amazing girls with the wings and the street fighter crossover group with the crazy cat lady from the Simpsons XDD.
If anyone uploaded the videos on youtube, please let me know <3! I would love to share them with my followers!

On that day I wore my Zakuro costume first, and after that my Momoi . Glad I could take some photos with the other cosplay guests <3. Thanks to *KamuiCosplay, =Elffi and Alesandro <3. Happy that I could be there with those lovely people!



We also got some really nice food *_*! I loved the waffle fishis with caramel <3



a special point in my report will go to Maria <3! I am so happy that i could finally meet her *____* (She's even more beautiful in real life, than on pictures )



I changed clothes and wore my Momoi for a bit <3. Such a comfy costume *_*. I was already looking forward to take a photo with Sasu as Kuroko <3 and to take some photos with =Elffi as Kagami. Thanks to amazing *Nebulaluben and Erik who helped us during a shooting with Jesus Clares ([link]) we could get some pictures of those costumes as well. He is totally amazing! We just had like 20 minutes in icy wind and rain and he still managed to take some nice photos of us ;O;! OMG thank you so much <3!!!
Also it was a big honor to meet *Nebulaluben finally <3....she's my very favorite, Spanish cosplayer

Winter is rainy and nasty here in my corner of Germany, but I have some nice news

I'll be at Japan Weekend Madrid in Spain from 9th - 10th February together with =Elffi and another friend of mine and great cosplayer who I may not announce yet ;D

I'm really really excited to see some of my Spanish friends again <3 as well as meeting new people ! So don't be shy, just come over to say "Hi~" to us

Here a picture of my finished Hakufu costume!

I just finished a new costume. I did a complete remake of my Hakufu Sonsaku (Ikkitousen) cosplay!



It is a very easy costume, but I also wanted to gave as much effort into this as possible. So this time, I ironed on the dark red stripes and then stitched the edges with the satin stitch. The white likes are completely embroidered! When unfolded, the skirt is 3m long. It took me 18h to make only the skirt.

What I want to show you: Also when you have no money or time to make big, detailed ball gowns or badass, massive armors, you can also proof your sewing ability on 'smaller' costumes! Also on simple stuff like this school uniform, you can proof that you work really neat and clean. Don't be sad that people would think you are not a good cosplayer coz you cannot effort something bigger. Every costume can be something special and a challenge, when you have some great ideas!

again I'm crazily late with my report, but here it comes !
Together with my dear friend *Catspassion I visited Lucca Comics in Italy this year. Thanks to *FedericaDN who offered us to stay in their vacation house, we made it possible.
Oh my! it's such a HUGE convention o.o....totally CRAZY!
But let me tell the story via photos ;D~~~

Lucca is a absolutely beautiful city! It has so many great places <3! See those beautiful places and buildings...



We decided for the first few days just to skip cosplay and to see the convention in civil clothes. It is CRAZILY full with people, so it was much easier to be without any cosplay XD
GAME OF THRONES booth *_*! With pretty Danny, a dragon and the THRONE!


Also we went figure shopping *____*!!! So many great figures *wants them all*


And I bought a SABER again LOL XDDDD.....this time: MAID-SABER



Next day we wore our Umineko costumes and met lovely Inu who is also from Germany and currently studies in Rome. Together we made some shootings as well as some funny random pictures of ourselves XDDD.




I'm was so surprised how many people recognized me on the streets !!! Thanks a lot, lovely girls <3! You really made my day



Last day at the convention: We wore some comfortable costumes. It was crazily cold and rainy. So only small school uniforms to have some fun. We found this really damn awesome Umbrella Corporation *_*! OMG!!!

Some negative points about the con:
- it is so crazily big that I missed so many people! It was really hard to find anyone
- *Catspassion and I were kinda shocked that so many people there asked us "Oh you also have cosplay in Germany?" "Do you also have cons in Germany?" "Aren't you impressed to see so many great costumes on the streets? You don't have that in your country,right?".....
well, we HAVE cosplay and cons in Germany. Thanks.

Hello everybody !

finally my report for the great convention in Ghent (Belgium).
I was invited as a judge for the cosplay competitions to FACTS, a con about sci-fi, movie, games and anime&manga ^^! Really nice mix.
I drove by car from my town to *e-l-y-n-n's place on Friday evening. And directly on Saturday EARLY morning (*cough* 5 am *cough*) we drove to Ghent. We got terrible lost somewhere in Netherlands *LOL*...and arrived 1h later than planned.

I wore two costumes: Saber on Saturday and Kururu on Sunday. here some great photos that ~kn8e took of me <3

We had cosplay competitions every day. Most people did super funny skits XD we really laughed a lot ! Specially I loved the Pokemon group on Saturday XD. We also saw really beautiful costumes <3!!!

To all participants: thanks for the great entertainment !

Everything was really well organized. The competition started exactly on the right time!
Also we were treated really nicely <3! *e-l-y-n-n and I totally LOVED our awesome hotel *_*!!! the bed was SO AWESOME XD! And the breakfast *drools* <3<3<3!!!!

Also big big thanks to wonderful to the lovely *xxxStarlaxxx who organized a wonderful dinner party with many friends <3! I was really happy to meet ~Leyyamaguy and *YamiNoCosmos again ^^.

I'm also really glad to meet so many NEW friends there ! The people in Belgium are really nice and open to foreign cosplayers!

We had to drive back early on Sunday ....I still had to drive 6,5h back to my hometown and had to go to work on Monday morning again. It was a really exhausting trip, but also lots of fun <3!

Belgium made a really great impression. I can totally recommend this convention !

here a little report about my day at RING*Con in Bonn this Saturday.
Well it was a totally different style of convention. Usually German cons are never in hotels, but this one is special. It took place at the Maritim hotel in Bonn.
Well the con invited many star guests from series like Game of Thrones, Legend of the Seeker, Lord of the Rings, True Blood and so on ^.^!
Coz photos are always nicer to look at than reading long texts, I'll just show you some pics XD!

we saw some really pretty costumes! Also a chibi Khal Drogo XDDDD he was really cute and charming and *Aigue-Marine took a photo with him together ^^

Then OMG we met some really awesome actors *_*! Well of course they were watched by helpers really strictly and you just had a few seconds to talk to them, but they were all cute and charming ^^.

finally I've also been again on a German convention XD!
This time we had many many foreign friends as our guests !
Thanks a lot to from the USA, from Denmark, from Mexico, Gabriela from Brazil and Sami from Finland to visit our lovely convention.
It was an honor to have you all around

Well beside preparing stuff for WCS and taking photos for WCS there was not that much left, coz the time was limited XD;.....my personal best day was Sunday. I really enjoyed watching the WCS preliminary for Germany.

I was wearing my Saber costume on Saturday, bit only the dress and not the armors. It was crazily WARM and the dress alone is already super hot (it's made out of velvet. also Saber wears white pants under her dress). I just wanted to have a relaxing convention and talk to some friends. So it made me really sad that nearly everybody asked where my armors are. Seriously, the dress alone was already too hot! to wear a leather corsage and full body armors would have been seriously crazy for just hanging out with a bunch of friends. Sorry that i disappointed everybody with not being in full body armors in 30°C >___>.

I was really glad that I had a small costume for Sunday. I was busy with taking photos from the morning to the late evening. So i wore my Aya Natsume costume:

sry for being super late with my reports! There still will be a report about the convention in Finland as fast as possible. But first a report about my latest cosplay travel to Hungary !

I was very happy to be invited as guest for the convention "COSPLAYER EXPO" in Budapest.
There, we were judges for the cosplay competition (categories: craftmanship solo, craftsmanship group, performance, EuroCosplay). It took us nearly the complete day to judge. Sadly my panel about ECG and WCS had to be canceled, coz there was not enough time anymore after the cosplay competitions.
I took some photos during the contest while judging XD;...sadly there was not enough time for real shooting with the country's cospalyers. I still hope you enjoy the stage photos...

After the contests we got some yummi yummi sushi <3 nomnom~
Then there was an auction to collect money for local animal shelters and directly after that there was the cosplay gala <3. Sry for no photos from that XD;

All in all really a great convention with many many nice people! I got so many new friends and I were so happy to meet my old friends again (greetings here to Licorne, Raffi, Ruki, Andreea, Shinju and Co. ;D!)
We were treated really wonderfully like princesses ! I totally enjoyed my time there.

For everybody who wants to visit more foreign conventions, I really recommend Cosplayer Expo in Budapest!


One day after the convention we could go to visit the city and OHMYGOSH most beautiful city EVER!!! I was so surprise how beautiful and clean Budapest is! Gosh it is really like a dream <3!

before I have time to report you about the complete Japan Expo trip to Paris, I write a short entry about the results of the EUROPEAN COSPLAY GATHERING 2012 in Paris on Japan Expo.

I am so happy and feel so honored that I won 1st price in this international competition *_*~

Thanks to the awesome ECG film crew! I never saw performance videos from conventions in THIS awesome kind of quality <3!

What is the ECG? -> The ECG is a big European cosplay competition, including 10 countries (11 in 2013) . You can participate in 2 categories: solo and group (2-3 ppl). It takes place at the largest convention in Europe: Japan Expo in Paris. Japan Expo also has the biggest and most elaborate cosplay stage of Europe.

How is it rated? -> It's 50% costume and 50% performance that will be rated for the ECG. That means, the "cos" is as important as the "play" for the ECG. The organizers of ECG think, that it is not only important to have a big costume. It's also important to present yourself and entertain the audience with your costume and skit!

sry for being so late with updating you with my latest BIG project.
I'm working on this costume since January and finally I see the end of the long tunnel coming XD.
I wanna show you my now finished Saber Gift Figure armor!

well let's start with the raw armor parts, completely unpainted.
I used WOBLAS FINEST ART as my material. It's a thermoplastic material with a mix out of plastic and wood. It's close to Wonderflex, but thicker, more durable and it's easier to make round shapes l shoulders, knees and chest plates. You can also melt the material together and use it as thermoplastic modeling clay!
This is my VERY first armor and even a bloody beginner like me could work with it. All you need is just a scissor and a hot-air-blower. That's really all ;D. So no special machines or expensive equipment required.

before the real painting comes, I had to use some primer color. It makes the surface smoother and the real color that I will paint after the primer color will not fall off.



After this, the real painting can start. I wanted to let my armor look more realistic and worn in battles before. So i did not want to have it all clean and just sprayed silver. I decided to drybrush it with many shadows and highlights. It is also my first time drybrushing something. At first it was really not that easy but at some point it started to be really fun <3. Here big thanks to =Elffi who taught me patiently XD;

Uff, that was really A LOT of work. From now on, I'll have even more respect for people who do armors! It really takes a long long time to form everything. Well, for my first armor, I am really confident with the results.

so here my lil report about the OTAKU FESTIVAL 2012 in Bucharest (Romania) www.otakufestival.com
with some silly pictures and my random comments with a lot of IRONY ;D LOL

Thusday, 24th May:
I arrived at the Airport in the afternoon and the organization team picked me up from there . The hotel room was directly next to the con. It was still some time till =Elffi's plane would arrive, so Christian (organization team member) and I took a walk in a nearby park. I got so distracted by wild DOGS, BIRDS and CATS everywhere *-*! I could pet a cute wild kitty <3 awww~~
The we went to the airport to pick up Elffi. We were standing there pretty long and I got bored and annoyed XD;....so the first thing I did after he came out of the baggage claim room, was kicking his leg and asking why the hell that took so long ;O;~~~  
We haven't seen each other since WCS, so that really heartwarming kick was the nicest greeting I could get in mind *LOL*.

Friday, 25th May:
Since the con started on Saturday, we went to the Bucharest city center to see the main city ^.^. They really have some pretty and Paris-like looking buildings there. Also the food is nice and cheap *-* and riding taxis there is even more than cheap haha~
In the evening, dinner with the organization team.

Saturday, 26th May:
First convention day, YOSH!
The convention was pretty small, compared to German cons, but it was nice to have enough space to walk XD. Also we were really surprised how many people could speak English. Specially I was also very surprised how many people could answer me in perfect German XD! That was pretty awesome!!


So here you see a screen at the entrance of the convention building. It always changed the image.

Well, on this day, there was the solo cosplay competition and also the preliminary for the Romanian EuroCosplay selection.
After an individual costume judging in a separate room, everybody went on stage. Here you can see the stage...

Small but with nice light effects. Also the sound was wonderful and the technical support made no mistakes ;D! Also we had the really BEST cosplay show moderator everrrr XDDDDD! He was so dang funny LOL~

We really enjoyed the show, and after a kinda hard discussion (sry dear other judges, that I am always so hard to deal with LOL), we found a winner <3! Congratulations to Paula!



A very special event, that I loved a lot on the convention, was the 3D Projection convert of Miku feat. Gumi *_____*

Sunday, 27th May:
This day, Elffi and I had a panel together about Cosplay in Germany, Finland, WCS, ECG and props LOL...yeah all that in one panel! We are awesome. We were KINDA unprepared *cough* coz we were so lazy in the evenings to make a proper presentation and decided to make everything COOL and SPONTANEOUS *_*.
Well, I hope we could be entertaining and informative.

Somehow the bunny ears and the pink hair do not let me look as intelligent as Mr. beard next to me ._. ...

After our panel, the Hungarian Crew also made a cool presentation about their conventions and Cosplay in Hungary.

Then on the same day, there was the group cosplay contest.
Again, Elffi and I could be part of the judging team.


Of course, cosplay is serious business! And we are the MOST serious judges everrrrrrrr~ no doubt LOL

The group contest was super funny XD~ I laughed a lot.

Also I was kinda active as a photographer myself this time. I made some photo shootings with the cosplayers in Romania.

Claudia, the cutest thing everrr! Licorne, the sexiness from Hungary! Andreea, cool and sexy in the same time! Daria and Maria, the colorful pair and and and and and ;D

Monday, 28th May:
OMFG LE RAIN OF ROOM ;O;~
Sadly, the weather was all bad during our trip, but Monday was the WORST!
Elffi and I wanted to go to the zoo, but that was now canceled by rain ._. ...
So we were super glad, that Shinju and friends picked us up to go out for lunch and later also for cake *_*. We had wonderful conversations and she was so nice to take care of us.

Tuesday, 29th May:
we had to go back home ._. .... *sniff*



Well, that was a kinds long report, right? I hope it had enough photos XD;;;;
So I had a wonderful time in Romania! The organization team was wonderful and took really good care of us ~! Thanks to Cris, Ruxi and all the other awesome people!!! Also I had a lot of fun to travel together with my idiot king *lol*~
I really hope that I can come back some day.
